AmCham Members Join PM Rõivas on the Business Trade Mission to the USA

On December 7-12, 6 AmCham members including some of the AmCham board directors joined the business delegation of the 1st U.S. Business Trade Mission organised by the Estonian government.

Led by the Prime Minister of Estonia Mr. Taavi Rõivas, Estonian Business Trade Mission to the USA is about opening doors and developing trade and investment opportunities in America for Estonian businesses in the ICT sector. The trade mission began in San Francisco, California followed by a visit to Washington, Boston and New York City.

In Boston, the business delegation got to visit another Estonian success story – GrabCAD (the winner of the American-Estonian Innovation Award 2012), participate in the e-Estonia lecture by Taavi Kotka at Harvard university, as well as visit Techstars. In New York, the program included the Opening Bell ceremony at the Nasdaq Stock Exchage, visits to Fintech and investment companies, and ending the day with a big closing reception at Allegro Pianos hosted by Indrek Laul and Estonia Piano.
