What is the American Chamber of Commerce?
AmCham Estonia is a non-profit, non-political association of business executives interested in:
- facilitating trade between the United States and Estonia
- increasing US investment in Estonia
- developing relationships with suitable business partners locally and internationally
Members of the AmCham Estonia include both businesses and individuals from the United States, Estonia and neighboring countries who are conducting business in or trade with Estonia.
Since the re-establishment of the Chamber in 1996, the response has been nothing but positive. The business community has embraced the Chamber and has taken it to a new level. The Chamber has over 100 members, which demonstrates that it is filling a definite need in the community. The Chamber has a Board of Directors and an Executive Director.
U.S. Ambassador Jeffrey D. Levine is the current honorary President of AmCham Estonia. US Embassy Economic and Commercial Officer, Brett Makens is an ex-officio member of the Board of Directors.
