AmCham Estonia – AmCham Finland Cooperation

We are thrilled to announce a close cooperation with AmCham Finland that will run throughout2013. The collaboration program will focus on the concept of “Twin Cities,” the topic of Rail Baltica, and feature member companies that belong to both AmChams.

AmCham Finland and AmCham Estonia will also  host the annual meeting of the 42 European and Eurasian AmChams in the fall of 2013 on the theme of regional cooperation. The planned program will take place both in Helsinki and Tallinn.

Most importantly, the cooperation will aim to build your networks and provide you with new business opportunities.

We see this cooperation as a natural and extremely useful regional collaboration based on numerous business links that already exist between our two countries and the number of members that our AmChams currently share. And it turns out that we already share 23 members! “All our board members were greatly supportive of this idea and welcomed this cooperation proposal. It has been one of our long-time aspirations to connect our two AmChams and we are very excited to have our teams put it in action.”- says AmCham Executive Director Daria Sivovol

The companies that already belong to both chambers are Amway, Avon, Cisco, Coca-Cola, DHL, Eli Lilly, Epicor, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, KPMG, Manpower, Marsh, McDonald’s, Microsoft, MSD, NASDAQ OMX, Pfizer, Philip Morris, PwC, Regus, Sampo Bank and 3M.

“We think AmCham Estonia is a high-caliber partner and a great strategic fit for where our members want AmCham Finland to go in the future.  So thanks for partnering with us.”- comments Kristiina Helenius, the CEO of AmCham Finland.  –“ Everyone I have talked with has been excited about this. Our members look forward to the new contacts and business opportunities.  It almost feels like this cooperation is long overdue! There are many goals but the main one is that our members get a great new benefit that enhances their business and clout. We’d love to grow together with AmCham Estonia and innovate new ways for businesses to cover the Northern European region.”- she continues.
