Today, we had the pleasure of meeting the new Estonian Minister of Entrepreneurship and IT Mr. Andres Sutt. It was an absolutely outstanding discussion with lots of topics and issues covered by Minister Sutt, including his visionary goals for the country and long-term strategy, insightful responses to many questions by our members. “Estonia has been a very IT-minded country, but we have to have the ‘IT-drive’ carried out throughout the economy and other sectors too”- highlighted Minister Sutt. The Minister also stressed the importance of taking risks and experimenting.
The meeting was well-attended by AmCham members and the participants had so many questions, that we ran out of time. So we are glad to announce that Minister Sutt has agreed to have another meeting (Part 2) to continue this great discussion and address all the questions that we did not have time to cover.
We sincerely thank Minister Sutt for this very warm and open dialogue and Majandus- ja Kommunikatsiooniministeerium for the excellent collaboration! We look forward to our active ongoing cooperation!
