On May 18, we held our online meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Estonia Urmas Reinsalu. This was the first online meeting in cooperation with the Ministry and joined by members of AmCham Estonia, and a few invited guests.
Minister Reinsalu gave a brief overview of the current situation and answered all of the questions pre-sent by our members, covering the topics of travel restrictions, opening borders, quarantine, as well as innovation export, political foreign policies with the neighboring countries (and others), and many more! Minister Reinsalu was very open and encouraged the private sector to cooperate with the stakeholders by providing ideas and suggestions for boosting the post-crisis economy, cooperation, and innovation!
We would like to thank the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for our continuous great cooperation! We would also like to thank Mart Luik for helping us to organize this meeting. A special thank you, we would like to extend to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Estonia Urmas Reinsalu! It is always a pleasure to see such an open and encouraging readiness for communication and cooperation, as well as an honest and direct way of answering the questions during such challenging times!
And last but not least, a big thank you to our members for submitting their questions and participating in the meeting!
