On June 4, we held our first pan-Baltic Women’s Leadership Forum, in cooperation with AmCham Latvia and AmCham Lithuania. The event featured 3 amazing female leaders from the 3 Baltic countries: Ingrida Šimonyte from Lithuania (Economist, Politician), Ingrid Toonekurg from Estonia (Microsoft), and Kerli Gabrilovica from Latvia (Luminor Group). The discussion was moderated by Kathleen Naglee, the Director of the International School in Finland, and a former Vice-President of AmCham Estonia.
It was such an inspiring and interactive discussion!! Those great ladies shared their experience in the light of the COVID-19 crisis and highlighted quite a few key takeaways and suggestions for the others that included: authentic leadership, the necessity of taking care of others, the importance of compassion, managing not only time but also energy, readiness to adapt to changes, and of course the importance of finding connections with others and communication!
We would like to thank all our speakers for this great discussion and a very well-spent afternoon! A huge thank you to the event sponsors: UPS in Estonia and Sorainen Law Office in Lithuania! Of course, we would also like to thank all the participants for joining!
And again, a special shout-out to our sister Amchams in Latvia and Lithuania! It is always a pleasure to work together with you!!
Until next time!
