On November 23, over 150 AmCham members, invited guests and their families gathered at Radisson Blu Sky Hotel to celebrate Thanksgiving – one of the warmest and most important holidays in the American culture!
As per our good tradition, we listened to Thanksgiving Grace, this time presented by Reverend Gustav Piir. In order to try something different this year, the children from both sides – American and Estonian- shared what are they thankful for in their lives. After we were done with the speeches, all the guests got to enjoy the authentic Thanksgiving buffet, carefully prepared by the Chefs of the Sky Hotel with Irena Dmitrijeva at the helm. The little ones, of course, got to enjoy Happy Meals kindly provided by our amazing partner and sponsor McDonald’s and the kids’ program with fascinating scientific experiments!
With the help and support of our Premium Partner AVIS, we were able to hold a very special KIDS’ raffle this year with some truly amazing prizes!! Thank you so much AVIS for coming up with this idea and also helping us to pull it off! And of course, we are so grateful to all our members and sponsors for contributing to the main raffle this year! So many prizes and so many happy smiles! Thank you!! We are happy to announce that with your help and support we were able to raise 2460 EUR this year!!!
