On November 7, AmCham Estonia in cooperation with the U.S. Embassy Tallinn and the Baltic American Freedom Foundation (BAFF) held its Annual Conference & Awards Ceremony celebrating Transatlantic Cooperation and Trade.
This year’s Transatlantic Business Conference was opened by the Minister of Entrepreneurship and Information Technology Rene Tammist. Minister Tammist emphasized that Estonia and US have to cooperate in order to keep it up with the global political, economic and environmental challenges. Susan Danger, the CEO of AmCham EU also addressed the topic and current challenges from the EU perspective. As Susan said, EU is interested in building a stronger and more united Europe! Maintaining and strengthening the EU/US relations is in everybody’s interest as EU and US thrive together!
This year’s Keynote Speaker, the Chief Strategist of the Bank of America and the Senior Fellow at the Center for Transatlantic Relations Joe Quinlan, inspired us to work even faster, harder and smarter! We must embrace technology, AI, G5 – we MUST keep moving forward!! He has also pointed out all the achievements and conditions we currently have and deal with in today’s world so that we could focus on the positive thinking and start noticing how fortunate we are!
The second part of the conference recognizer our 2018 Transatlantic Award winners:
Cleveron was named the Transatlantic Company of the Year for its success of breaking through to the US market and establishing strong business relations with the world’s biggest retailer Walmart. Other finalists for the Transatlantic Company of the Year award included Wolf3D and Bikeep.
